Tasty free event on the menu this summer at Lowry Outlet
Gregg Wallace and ITV Lorraine’s Dean Edwards to appear at the free family food festival next month
A perfect recipe of street food, live music, and celebrity chef demonstrations will be served up at Lowry Outlet, MediaCityUK, next month.
Whether you’re a wannabe chef or a novice in the kitchen, there is something for all the family at Lowry Outlet Food Festival which is taking place on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th July.
There will be more than 100 food and drink stalls selling a host of gastronomic delights and artisan produce from across the region and beyond. Plus, there will be live music and children’s activities to entertain the crowds throughout the weekend.
On Saturday, you can watch Gregg Wallace taking to the kitchen doing free cookery demonstrations throughout the day as well as signings of his latest book Italian Family Cookbook.
Chef Dean Edwards from ITV’s Lorraine will then be serving up his relaxed style of cooking at demonstrations on the Sunday.
Lowry Outlet Centre Manager Kelly Hurst said: “We are really excited to welcome Gregg and Dean to our Food Festival which promises to be an amazing weekend.
“There are so many amazing producers, artisan businesses and entertainment lined up for what is going to be one big foodie celebration and it’s free to enter too.”
The festival will take place on the Plaza outside Lowry Outlet and it is open from 10am to 7pm on Saturday and 11am to 5pm on Sunday.
As well as sampling the culinary delights at the festival, visitors can truly make a day of it by heading into one of Lowry Outlet’s many restaurants such as Café Rouge, Bella Italia, Nando’s, Harvester, Lime or Pizza Express.
